Motorcycle inspection

First of all, the appearance inspection should be carried out. The parts of the vehicle should be in good condition without missing parts. The paint layer, chrome coating and galvanized parts should be bright and bright without scratch. The vehicle shall be provided with product certificate and product operation manual, and the spare parts and tools shall be accepted according to the packing list. Then start check, at room temperature, cold start not more than three times, hot start should be a foot start success. When the engine is running, there should be no abnormal and knocking sound, stable idle running, no leakage of gasoline and oil. Inspection and adjustment of components

(1) Front wheel brake. The front wheel brake is operated by the right hand, first check its free travel. The so-called free stroke refers to the stroke from the handle to the brake. If the travel is too small, the front brake shoe and the front wheel brake drum can not be separated completely, which affects the driving speed; if the travel is too large, which affects the braking efficiency, it can not brake in time.

(2) Rear wheel braking. The brake of the rear wheel is controlled by the pedal. First, check the free stroke of the brake pedal.

(3) Clutch. The clutch is generally operated by the left hand, and its free stroke shall be checked during adjustment.

(4) Rear shock absorber.

(5) After the transmission. The rear drive adjustment is mainly to check the tightness of the transmission chain (belt). The inspection part is in the middle position between the front and rear sprockets (belt pulley). Use your fingers to move the chain up and down to see the distance of up and down movement. It is 10-20 mm for small motorcycles and 20-30 mm for ordinary motorcycles. For the tightness of V-belt, press the belt by hand [with 49 n (5 kg force)] and the belt sags 10-20 mm.

(6) The carburetor idles. Idle speed is the lowest stable speed when the engine is no-load. When the throttle handle is at the minimum position, the engine can keep running continuously. When adjusting, start the engine first, turn the throttle handle gradually, and check the free stroke of the throttle handle, which is generally set at 2-6 mm. If the rotation does not exceed 2 mm, the engine speed will increase, indicating that the free stroke is too small; if the rotation stroke exceeds 6 mm, the engine speed still does not increase, indicating that the free stroke is too large.
