Air filter maintenance
Air filter is the respiratory system of motorcycle. If the air filter is blocked by dust, the intake resistance will become larger, which will reduce the engine output power and increase the fuel consumption. It will make the engine difficult to start and easy to shut down. The serious problem is that dust enters into the cylinder block, which will aggravate the wear of engine components. Clean the air filter according to the following steps:
Remove the air filter element from the vehicle;
If the filter core is sponge foam, use neutral detergent to wash carefully, do not force to twist, clean up and dry the water, dripping 2-3 drops of oil (in order to adsorb very tiny dust in the air), hold it evenly with hands, and put it back in original form; if it is a paper filter element, it can not be cleaned by liquid, and can effectively knock internal dust. Otherwise, the dust will be blown into the paper core, and the blockage will be more serious); for example, the qs150t paper core blows from the inside to the outside, and the storm Prince blows from the outside to the middle hole.
Pay attention to the installation direction and air inlet direction when replacing the filter element;
When driving in dusty and dirty environment, the cleaning frequency should be increased. If the sponge is broken or the paper filter element is soaked, the new one should be replaced immediately, otherwise the engine will be damaged or black smoke will be emitted.
